According to Hubspot, online content with relevant images gets 94% more views than content without.
While I definitely pause over content as an image catches my eye in my twitter feed, I’m also more comfortable with writing words than with creating pretty pictures. So, anything that can help me visually express my thoughts and add some glam is a good thing.
Enter Visme, for creating presentations, infographics, banners & more.
A free account will get you started with a maximum of 3 creations and a limited number of templates.Step up to a USD $7 per month or USD$16 per month plan for more projects and plans (up to unlimited, for both), premium templates, privacy and analytics.
This is quite competitive with say Canva, where adding some elements to your infographic can set you back $1 each.
Their premiuminfographic layout range is extensive and they continue to add new and interactive features like animations, links, hotspots, clocks and counter widgets. They’re also very good at communicating their updates and useful tips via email, without overwhelming you with messages every day.
The process is simple, drag & drop, click to edit. For a 2 min demo of the site, here’s a video.
When you’re happy with the finished product, you can publish it online publicly or privately (paid account only), download it or embed it on your website with control over animation autoplay and looping.
Sign up for a free account or invest that first USD$7 (it’s worth it) to have a play.
We’ll definitely be going straight to Visme the next time we need to create a graphic. Let’s hope it improves our skills!
